Sinfully good hot chocolate: the owners of Toronto’s dessert shop Bobbette and Belle turn the humble cup of cocoa into a decadent delight.

  • 4.5 cups of whole milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 6 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 oz milk chocolate


In a saucepan over medium heat combine whole milk, sugar, vanilla and cocoa powder and heat while stirring until scalding. Remove saucepan from heat and add both types of chocolate, stirring until melted.
