This simple dish can be eaten as a dessert or breakfast for those looking for a warm dish this winter.

(serves 6)

Ingredients for seabuckthorn marmalade:

  • 240g Seabuckthorn berries
  • 100g Sugar
  • 50-100g Honey (depends on how sweet you want it)

Ingredients for yogurt:

  • 240g Non-fat Greek yogurt

Ingredients for stresuel:

  • 300g All-purpose unbleached flour
  • 100g Sugar
  • 60g pumpkin seeds
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 10g smoked maldon or other smoked salt

Instructions for the marmalade:
 

  1. Combine the seabuckthorn berries with the sugar and honey and a little water and bring to a boil. Turn down to a simmer for about 20 minutes.
  2. Cool.

For the Streusel:
 

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, salt and work in the butter with your fingertips. Toss in the pumpkin seeds.
  2. Bake at 325 F for about 25 minutes, raking half way through baking.
  3. Cool.

To finish:

Serve spoonful of yogurt in each bowl and a spoonful of the marmalade on top and finish with the streusel.
