Royal Icing Recipes for Gingerbread House
Ingredients:
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 4 cups (946 grams) icing sugar
Directions
In a medium mixing bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually blend in icing sugar until frosting is thick enough to hold its shape when a knife is drawn through the bowl. Keep covered with a damp cloth.
