Brownie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200 g Unsalted butter
  • 100 g unsweetened bakers chocolate
  • 4 large eggs
  • 350 g sugar
  • 4 g vanilla
  • 3 g salt
  • 4 g baking powder

Instructions:

  • Cream the sugar and butter together until smooth
  • Once creamed, add the eggs, mix thoroughly.  Scrape the mixing bowl well
  • Melt the Bakers chocolate and add to the creamed mixture
  • Add the vanilla
  • Mix thoroughly
  • Sift together the salt, pastry flour and baking powder
  • For a chewy brownie, add the sifted ingredients and mix just until combined
  • For a cake like brownie, add the sifted ingredients and mix for approximately minutes
  • Pour into baking pan. Bake at 350°F for approximately 40 minutes

Basic Whipped Cream

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

Directions:

  • Place a metal mixing bowl and metal whisk into the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes
  • Place the sugar into the mixing bowl and add the whipping cream. Whisk just until the cream reaches stiff peaks. Fold in vanilla
