Frost is just around the corner for most of us. Some Canadians have already experienced it. Now is the time to retrieve remaining tomatoes and peppers before frost gets to them.
Pick all ripe fruit, and if there is threat of frost pick the green ones too. Keep them above freezing and in a well vented area. In time they will turn red and you can eat them fresh.
Better than the tomatoes that they strip-mine in California. Tasteless things!
