An 18-year-old who won $15,000 on a talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres got a second on-air surprise Thursday morning.

Leah Borneman, 18, entered a contest posted on DeGeneres' website, and was surprised last week with a phone call from the celebrity. The Brampton, Ont. native answered a series of trivia questions and won $15,000 to go toward her education.

Borneman appeared on CTV's Canada AM on Wednesday to tell her story, telling the show's hosts she hoped to spend the money on tuition for a musical theatre program at St. Clair College in Windsor.

She was asked to return to Canada AM on Thursday morning and was told crews wanted to film her story for a weekend segment.

During the interview, Ann Hetherington, director of marketing and student recruitment for St. Clair College, appeared on the TV screen behind the hosts.

Hetherington told Borneman that the school was offering her two $2,500 scholarships, one for tuition and one for residence.

But that’s not all the 18-year-old Brampton native will be receiving. Hetherington also told Borneman that the school was also going to pick her and her friends up in a limo to transport them to the school's Christmas production in December.

"Thank you so much, everyone," Borneman said through tears. "Thank you."
