OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

February 23, 2015 – February 27, 2015

           

 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED.  DECLARATION OF ELIGIBILITY/RELEASE OF LIABILITY/PRIZE ACCEPTANCE AGREEMENT MAY BE REQUIRED.

 

1.      TO ENTER the RUN ALL NIGHT Red Carpet Premiere Contest (the “Contest”), simply send an email to amcontests@ctv.cawith Run All Night Premiere in the subject line and the following information included in the body of the email: your name, age, address telephone number and email address.  Limit of one (1) entry per individual per day. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once per day, all your entries will be void.  Entries shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.  “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.  Illegible entries are ineligible.  The Contest starts at 3:00PM Eastern Time ("ET") on February 23, 2015 and closes on February 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM ET (the “Contest Period”). There is one (1) prize (the "Prize") to be won. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

 

2.      The Contest sponsor is Bell Media Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsor”). 

 

3.    To enter and to be eligible to win, entrant must be a legal resident of Canada (excluding Quebec) and be of the age of majority or older in the province or territory in which he/she resides. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of the Contest Sponsor, Warner Bros. Pictures Canada and each of their respective agents, parents, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, prize sponsors, and promotional and advertising agencies and administrators (collectively, “Contest Entities”), are ineligible to enter. A winner of a previous Bell Media Inc. contest within the three (3) months’ preceding the start of this Contest (including persons designated by such winners to take ownership of prizes) and persons domiciled with a winner are not eligible to enter.

 

4.   Prize - There is one (1) Prize to be won.  The Prize includes a trip for two to attend the red carpet premiere of RUN ALL NIGHT in New York City. The Prize is non-transferrable and must only be redeemed by the selected winner. Proof of ID is required at the premiere. The Prize includes:

 

(i)     two (2) round-trip, economy-class airline tickets from a major Canadian airport closest to the Prize winner’s  place of residence in Canada (hereinafter referred to as the “Departure Point”) to a New York airport (airport location chosen by the Contest Sponsor at its discretion);

(ii)   two (2) nights’ hotel accommodation for two (2) (single room, double occupancy) at a hotel chosen by the Contest Sponsor at its discretion. Hotel will require a valid credit card in an adult guest’s name to cover incidentals; and 

(iii)two (2) tickets to the Motion Picture Premiere at a venue to be chosen by the Contest Sponsor at its discretion on Monday, March 9, 2015 in New York City.

 

Approximate retail value of the Prize is $5,000 CDN, based on a Toronto departure.  Actual retail value will vary based on flight schedule and hotel selection.  All prize details, including exact flight times, to be determined in the absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor, subject to availability.  Travel arrangements must be made through the Contest Sponsor. The winner and his/her travelling companion (the “Travellers”) must travel together on the same itinerary including the same departure date, destination and return date.  The winner and his/her travelling companion are solely responsible for all costs incurred to and from the Departure Point as the Prize originates and terminates there.  Travellers are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (e.g. valid passport). Travel must take place between March 8 – March 10, 2015. Documentation that is necessary for the Contest Sponsor to book the Prize for the Travellers (e.g. passport number) must be supplied to the Contest Sponsor or its representatives or agents upon request, and failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of the Prize at the absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor.  Travellers are responsible for any additional visa requirements; passport copies will be required within 24 hours of Prize notification to verify. Winner must reserve the Prize no later than March 2, 2015 at 5:00pm ET. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of the Prize in the absolute discretion of the Contest Sponsor.  The traveling companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older in order to participate in the Prize.

 

Travellers are responsible for any additional expenses not included in the Prize as described herein, including, but not limited to, meals, in-room charges, transfers, travel and health insurance, transportation costs, gratuities, taxis and ground transportation, checked baggage fees, excess baggage fees, personal incidentals, recreational activities and all other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible in the event that any Traveller is denied the ability to fly out of or into any particular airport, whether due to airport restrictions or otherwise.  The Contest Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, gift cards or certificates.  All tickets issued in connection with the Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles.  Once reservations are made, they cannot be changed.  Other restrictions may apply.  Travellers must behave appropriately and observe the laws, rules and regulations of location of the Prize while using the Trip Prize, and participating in any prize-related activity.  The Contest Sponsor has the right, in its absolute discretion, to disqualify and remove any Traveller from any activity at any time if such individual is, at any point, uncooperative, disruptive, or may cause (or has caused) damage to person, property, or the reputation of the Contest Sponsor.

 

No financial compensation will be made or required if actual Prize value is lower than the total value quoted in these Contest Rules.  Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be sold, transferred or exchanged absent the consent of the Contest Sponsor, which consent may be withheld in their absolute discretion.  Prizing may not be exactly as advertised.  The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever the reason, of any advertised Prize in whole or in part.  Once reservations are made, they cannot be changed.  Other restrictions may apply.  Except as expressly warranted herein, any Prize is provided “as is” without further warranty of any kind.  Contest Sponsor is not liable for any missed Prize events, opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay or ground transportation delay.  Flight schedules are subject to change without notice.  No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any event or flight, or failure of winner to complete travel.  Contest Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.  Entrants acknowledge that the tickets to the premiere have no monetary value, and in the event that the Motion Picture premiere in New York City, New York is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, that portion of the Prize shall be forfeited and no substitution will be provided. Once a travel companion is selected, he/she may not be substituted, except in the Contest Sponsor's sole discretion. 

 

The address of the premiere screening will be provided by the Contest Sponsor within a reasonable time prior to the premiere screening.  The Travellers are advised to arrive at least one (1) hour prior to the premiere screening start time.  No one will be admitted without a ticket or after the premiere screening begins.  If, for whatever reason, the premiere screening of the film is cancelled or rescheduled after the tickets are ticketed, no compensation with be paid in lieu of any cancelled or rescheduled showing of the movie.  No responsibility is assumed by the Contest Sponsor if the premiere screening is cancelled, rescheduled, delayed or postponed, in whole or in part.  Unused tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

 

Before being able to participate in the Prize, the travelling companion will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsor, a full release and indemnity form stating that, among other things, he/she has read and understood these Rules, grants all consents required, agrees to be available and to participate in publicity and/or promotions related to the Contest and/or the Contest Sponsor and/or similar matters, authorizes the Contest Sponsor to broadcast, publish, disseminate and otherwise use his/her name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the travelling companion, beyond his/her participation in the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases the Contest Sponsor from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the travelling companion’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize.

 

5.      On Friday, February 27, 2015 at Noon ET, a random draw for the Prize will take place at Bell Media Inc., Toronto, Ontario from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.  The first entry drawn will be eligible to win the Prize. The odds of winning the Prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.  Bell Media Inc., acting reasonably, will attempt to contact the potential Prize winner to notify potential winner that he or she may have won the Prize by telephone within two (2) days of the draw. In the event that the potential winner cannot be contacted within two (2) days after the draw, he or she will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be drawn at the Contest Sponsor’s sole discretion. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. In order to be declared the winner, potential winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill testing question administered by Bell Media Inc. Before being awarded the Prize, the potential winner will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsor, a full release and indemnity form stating that, among other things, he/she has read and understood these official rules and regulations (“Rules”), grants all consents required by the Contest Sponsor, agrees to be available and to participate in publicity and/or promotions related to the Contest and/or the Contest Sponsor and/or similar matters, authorizes the Contest Sponsor to broadcast, publish, disseminate and otherwise use his/her name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of or participation in the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases, discharges, indemnifies, and holds harmless the Contest Entities from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize. In the event that the potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, the Contest Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner, and draw an alternate potential winner, and the Contest Entities shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to selection and notification of a potential winner shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until a qualified winner has been duly selected.

 

6.      By entering this Contest the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Rules. All entrants further agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Contest Entities from any and liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest.   All decisions of the Contest Sponsor with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.

 

7.      All entries become property of the Contest Sponsor who assumes no responsibility for garbled, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected entries, mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting Rules by mail or requesting the name of the Prize winner (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). The Contest Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials or data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor, in its sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond its control, the Contest Sponsor reserves its rightto cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest, and select a winner from previously received eligible entries. The Contest Sponsor reserves its rightto modify the Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. The Contest Sponsor reserves its right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage the Contest web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made the Contest Sponsor reserves its right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law. The Contest Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this Contest or from downloading any material from the Contest web site.

 

8.      Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this Contest each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his or her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Contest Sponsor for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. Contest Sponsor will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this Contest. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in Bell Media Inc.'s Privacy Policy, which is available at www.bellmedia.ca/about/Media_Privacy.page.  Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Contest Sponsor should be addressed to Bell Media Inc. at 299 Queen St. W., Toronto, Ontario.

 

9.      In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

 

10.  All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Contest Sponsor and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

 

Warner Bros. Pictures Canada and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries are not responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of this Contest.
