Libby Norris has worked in fitness education and development for more than 20 years. She is the fitness expert for Canada's #1 morning show, CANADA AM.
As the founder of Inspired Energy, Norris channels her passion for fit and balanced living into customized and creative solutions for businesses. Creating and managing on-site fitness facilities and wellness promotions, Inspired Energy blends state-of-the-art fitness training, ergonomics, web-based programs and education with motivation, energy and fun.
Dedicated to education and development, Norris is an international fitness presenter and Master Trainer, an associate instructor at Sheridan College with the Exercise Science & Health Promotion Program and a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the Science Department at Wilfrid Laurier University. Norris is a motivational expert, speaking at conferences and corporations along with writing articles for various publications. Norris is an ex-competitive boxer and coach and the creator of Canada's first fitness boxing certification program.
Norris is an advocate for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and champions its Fit for Heart events. She also participates in many "fun runs" to raise money for charitable organizations.
Born in Woodstock, Ont., Norris is a graduate of physical education and communications at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her free time is spent coaching and volunteering as a conditioning specialist for the Brampton Blazers fastball teams. Aside from sports, Norris enjoys music, dance, great speakers and etymology.
